Deborah Morton Society Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Deborah Morton Society鈥檚 support of the Deborah Morton Endowed Scholarship is one of the most important aspects of the Deborah Morton Society.
The fund was established in 1974, as a means of maintaining the society鈥檚 legacy of commitment to future Maine women leaders. A key focus of the Deborah Morton Society, the fund has provided more than 80 students with critical financial aid and a meaningful vote of confidence.
The scholarship is awarded annually to two women students who are Maine residents entering their undergraduate freshman year and planning on majoring in a healthcare field. The intention is for the scholarship to follow the two students throughout their four years at UNE.
