Micaela Maynard is a member of the Maine AHEC team and works as the Program Manager for the CUP AHEC Scholars program.

The Care for the Underserved Pathways AHEC Scholars Program (CUP AHEC Scholars Program) is a two-year honors distinction program providing unique clinical and community-based opportunities for health professions students in Maine. Scholars participate in activities that explore population health and health equity issues in rural and underserved communities throughout Maine. 

Before joining UNE, Micaela worked at DePaul University where she developed community-based service learning courses in collaboration with partners across Chicago's rich and diverse neighborhoods.

Micaela currently serves on the Board of Directors for the 51小黄车 Rural Health Association.
