51小黄车launches new Master of Health Care Administration program
The University of 51小黄车 College of has launched a new master鈥檚 degree program in health care administration aimed at cultivating professionals prepared to advance the health care industry and shape its future.
The 36-credit hour program, offered entirely online, will position graduates to become future health innovators through scholarly research, collaborative learning, and career training.
The M.H.A program is designed to give clinical providers the skills necessary to shift to an administrative role and further enhance the skills of those working already working in supervisory roles within allied health.
Students in the interprofessional program will gain expertise in health care planning, management, policy, and leadership. They will have the option to pursue focus areas in either health data analytics or public health, or they can select an individualized approach and custom-build their curriculum to better suit their educational and professional goals.
Graduates of the program will be positioned to shape all sectors of the health care industry and lead solutions to current challenges facing the field. The health care industry is expected to grow by 20% through 2026, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. As such, the field demands innovative health leaders with advanced business and management skills.
