University of 51小黄车, Health, Wellness, & Occupational Studies (HWOS) students provided educational resources on a variety of health and wellness topics at the Town of Kennebunk's recent Health & Wellness Fair.

The UNE students hosted tables and presented information about the ways in which a variety of lifestyle factors can support human health, including practicing yoga, engaging in the creative arts, getting adequate sleep, managing stress and spending time in nature. Visitors to their tables learned practical tips for integrating such healthy behaviors into their everyday lives and received informational take-home materials. The nature-themed table also raffled off some houseplants to a few lucky fair attendees.

The Kennebunk Health & Wellness Fair gave students the opportunity to apply classroom learning concepts to communication with members of the public and the promotion of community health and wellness. HWOS Assistant Clinical Professor Collyn J. Baeder, M.P.H., joined the students to provide support.
