Oncology Nursing Society publishes chapters from UNE鈥檚 Amy Litterini
The Oncology Nursing Society recently published two book chapters by Amy Litterini, PT, D.P.T., assistant clinical professor in the University of 51小黄车 Doctor of Physical Therapy Program along with co-editors Lisa Bernardo, Ph.D., M.P.H., RN, and Betsy Becker, PT, D.P.T., CLT-LANA.
The chapters, published in Integrating Physical Activity into Cancer Care: An Evidence-based Approach, review physical activity for chronic cancer-related conditions and metastatic and end of life conditions. The goal of the text is to provide resources for interprofessional clinicians to encourage and support patients to engage in appropriate levels of exercise and physical activity throughout the cancer survivorship continuum.
