51小黄车DPT students publish research

The results of a research project by Hillary Lane, Megan Woodbrey, and Lindsey Rose, 2015 graduates in the University of 51小黄车鈥檚 Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in the Westbrook College of Health Professions, have been accepted for publication by the Journal of Neurologic Physical Therapy.  

The study, titled "Exploring the effects of using an oral appliance to reduce movement dysfunction in an individual with Parkinson disease: a single subject design study,鈥 was conducted with assistance from co-authors Michael Lawrence, M.S., coordinator of the 51小黄车Motion Analysis Lab, David Arghavani, D.D.S., of the College of Dental Medicine and faculty advisor Jim Cavanaugh, P.T., Ph.D. The project was supported by a small grant from the Westbrook College of Health Professions.
