The University of 51小黄车 鈥檚 was well represented at the recent American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) 2016 House of Delegates and NEXT Conference.

The event, held in Nashville, Tennessee, featured poster presentations by several recent Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) graduates. The presentations showcased the results of their DPT coursework at NEXT along with some of their faculty mentors. DPT Class of 2017 student Zachary Verzillo was also present in his role with the APTA Student Assembly.

Recent graduate presenters included: Paige Blasco; Ashley Bowser; Courtney Brinckman; Zachary Chaloner; Melanie Klieber; Alyssa Gardner; Bettie Kruger; Emily Lodge; Timothy Lira; and Brandie Schmierer. Faculty mentors included: Professors Kirsten Buchanan; Erin Hartigan; Brian Swanson and Amy Litterini. Professors Mike Sheldon and Amy Litterini served in their leadership roles within the APTA including the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy and the House of Delegates respectively.
