University of 51小黄车 announces 51小黄车Pledge
On October 5, 2015, University of 51小黄车 President Danielle Ripich announced a new five-point commitment to students. The 51小黄车Pledge will directly benefit current and future students at Maine鈥檚 largest private university.
Effective immediately, beginning with undergraduate students in the graduating class of 2016, the 51小黄车Pledge offers:
1. Access to study abroad at no additional cost in Spain or Morocco. 51小黄车has its own campus in Tangier, Morocco, and a program hosted by the University Pablo de Olavide in Seville, Spain.
2. A guarantee that undergraduate 51小黄车students will face no additional lab or studio fees regardless of their major. This commitment has the potential to save students and their families more than a thousand dollars per year.
3. Access to internships and undergraduate research opportunities.
4. An Alumni Investment Award of one thousand dollars presented to each 51小黄车undergraduate in a four-year program who is graduating 鈥 beginning with the class of 2016.
5. A Lifetime Partnership Award of an additional one thousand dollars, presented to any 51小黄车undergraduate who is graduating and decides to pursue a graduate degree at UNE.
鈥淭he 51小黄车Pledge was made possible by generous giving from the University鈥檚 alumni,鈥 said President Ripich. 鈥淲e know that today鈥檚 students and their families have invested in their futures, and we will continue to invest in them as they move forward into the next phase of their lives.鈥
