51小黄车honored as CMCC Partner of the Year
The University of 51小黄车 was recently honored as the Central Maine Community College (CMCC) Partner of the Year for 2015. This recognition comes as a result of UNE鈥檚 assistance in providing curriculum development for CMCC鈥檚 new Life Science degree program.
The partnership between these two institutions will give CMCC students expanded opportunities for education as they will be able to apply all credits from the Life Science program toward the degree of their choosing. Degree programs include: Animal Behavior; Biology; Medical Biology; Aquaculture; Aquarium Science; Marine Biology; Oceanography; Ocean Studies and Marine Affairs; Biochemistry and Neuroscience. Students will also be able to pursue pre-med, pre-veterinary and pre-dental tracks.
Discussions are currently underway to expand this agreement to UNE鈥檚 Westbrook College of Health Professions in the following areas: Nursing; Dental Hygiene; Athletic Training; Applied Exercise Science; Health, Wellness and Occupational Studies; and Public Health.
