51小黄车continues to innovate with Interprofessional Practice and Education

The University of 51小黄车 was recently recognized as a . These sites focus on approaches for preparing team-ready health professionals, collaborative practice, health outcomes for patients and the integration of health systems and health professions education.

 In addition, several 51小黄车faculty members will present papers on Friday, April 10, 2015 at the Interprofessional Health Care Summit hosted by Armstrong State University in Savannah, Georgia.

Presenting faculty include:

  • Kris Hall, M.F.A., program coordinator for the Center for Excellence in Interprofessional Education (CEIPE) and Shelley Cohen Konrad, Ph.D., L.C.S.W., F.N.A.P., associate professor in the School of Social Work, director of the CEIPE will present a podium session titled, 鈥淔unding the Curious: Interprofessional Student-led Mini-grants.鈥
  • Kerry Dunn, J.D., Ph.D., assistant professor in the School of Social Work and Konrad will present, 鈥淪tronger When Combined: Interprofessional Service Learning at the County Jail.鈥
  • Amy Litterini, P.T., D.P.T., assistant clinical professor in the Department of Physical Therapy, and Elizabeth Crampsey, M.S., OTR/L, BCPR, assistant clinical professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy will lead a session on, 鈥淭eleteaching: A Rehabilitation Medicine Innovation in Interprofessional Education.鈥
