Rebecca Boulos, M.P.H., Ph.D., assistant clinical professor in the School of Community and Population Health; Meredith Milnes, market research analyst, College of Graduate and Professional Studies; and Brooke Burkett, M.S.W., School of Social Work ‘11, graduated from Lift360’s Emerging Leaders program in December 2014.
Emerging Leaders is an innovative three-month program providing leadership development, mentoring, matching and transitioning guidance to participants eager to become more engaged in their communities. Graduates are paired with a successful Maine nonprofit board and/or committee leadership role. Boulos was matched with the , Milnes was matched with and Burkett was matched with .
Lift360 is a new organization formed by the merger of the Institute for Civic Leadership and Common Good Ventures. Its mission is to improve the effectiveness of leaders and organizations in Northern 51С»Æ³µ communities using a holistic and uniquely immersive process to accomplish both broad and deep impact.
