Noah Perlut to speak on grassland birds at Grassland Guild symposium in Ontario
On March 24, 2015, Noah Perlut, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of Environmental Studies, will give a lecture at the Grassland Guild, a symposium for grassland bird research, which is being organized by the Ontario Soil & Crop Improvement Association in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
Perlut will discuss the life-histories of grassland birds and human-managed landscapes as wildlife habitat. A farm panel on grassland birds and grassland stewardship will follow.
The Grassland Guild aims to explore recent projects that support direct idea exchange with Ontario farmers.
