Michael Geria selected as CEO of American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists
Michael J. Geria, D.O., MS.MEdL (MMEL 2014), FACOOG (Dist.), CS, has been selected by the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOOG) Board of Trustees to become the next chief executive officer of the college. He will begin the transition on August 1, 2015, as executive vice president designee and will assume full responsibility as executive vice president and CEO on November 1.
Geria is currently the director of Medical Education as well as the Residency Program director of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) Approved OB/GYN residency program at Inspira Health Network. There he started and oversees eleven osteopathic training programs, including the first osteopathic fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.
Geria is a clinical assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-School of Osteopathic Medicine and a clinical associate professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
