On August 25, 2014, Noah Perlut, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of Environmental Studies, gave a presentation at the Coach Barn in Shelburne Farms, a non-profit education center for sustainability, located in Shelburne, Vermont.

He also discussed how the timing and intensity of haying and grazing affect grassland birds and how management opportunities among Vermont鈥檚 farming and landowner community can balance bird and farmer needs.
