Jennifer Gunderman assists with HIV/AIDS project in Guyana
As part of her involvement with the National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors (NASTAD), Jennifer Gunderman, MPH, assistant lecturer for the School of Community and Population Health, assisted with a project focused on HIV/AIDS data to aid the Ministry of Health in Guyana.
Ms. Gunderman traveled to Guyana from September 28 through October 3. Whil鈥媏 there, she co-presented information on data triangulation, developing an HIV/AIDS epidemiological profile, and constructing an HIV/AIDS continuum of care cascade.
In addition, she co-facilitated discussions on using HIV/AIDS data in Guyana to develop an HIV/AIDS continuum of care cascade to highlight strengths, identify gaps, and gain a better understanding of the impact of HIV in Guyana.
