Ermion Pierre accepts position at Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention
Ermion Pierre, a class of 2014 Master of Public Health (MPH) graduate, recently accepted a position with the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention as a comprehensive health planner. For the practical experience component of the MPH program, Pierre was part of the School of Community and Population Health (SCPH) - Healthy Maine Partnership (HMP) Initiative and Partnership for a Tobacco Free Maine (PTM) evaluation team.
Pierre will not only put to use the education she obtained from the MPH program but will also contribute more than a decade of social, nursing, and public health experience. "I am excited to accept this position," said Pierre, "and am looking forward to being part of the effort to help make a stronger and healthier Maine."
