Corliss Chastain exhibits oil paintings on paper at Portland gallery

Corliss Chastain, an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Arts and Communications, will exhibit 鈥淓ndless Summer and Other Stories,鈥 a collection of oil paintings on paper, July 3-30, 2013, at Blue, located at 650A Congress Street in Portland.

The gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday, from 6:00 p.m. to closing.

An opening reception will be held at Blue on July 5, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Chastain exhibits nationally, and her works are part of many private and institutional collections. She is also a recipient of numerous awards and recognitions for her work as an artist and leader in Art Education from institutions that include the Fulbright Foundation, Marie Walsh-Sharpe Foundation, Quimby Foundation, Maine College of Art, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Kansas City Art Institute, and the Maine Art Education Association.
