Cathy Plourde to speak to Pride Youth Theatre Network in San Francisco

Cathy Plourde, Director of Add Verb Productions, has been invited to present in San Francisco to the Pride Youth Theatre Network about Add Verb's work in creating performance materials with youth, funded by the Mukti Fund.

 

The Out & Allied Writing Project is a youth-driven program focused on using plays, monologues, spoken word and performance to support allies for LGBTQA youth.  It has won funding, awards, and notoriety by numerous groups including:  the National Recreation Foundation, the Mukti Fund, Maine Community Foundation's Equity Fund, the League of Young Voters, Maine Writers and Publisher's Alliance, Southern Poverty Law Center's Teaching Tolerance and others.

 

The project continues to feature the work of many 51小黄车students, from writing, editing, performance, marketing and new media.
