Lindsay Forrette presents at Animal Behavior Society meeting and wins undergraduate Turner Award
Lindsay Forrette (Animal Behavior ‘13) presented at the annual Animal Behavior Society meetings held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, June 10-15, 2012. Her poster, "Channel surfing for mates: an assessment of female mate choice for male personality in Siamese fighting fish," featured two other student co-authors, Krystal Mannion (Marine Sciences '15) and Alyssa Russell (Animal Behavior '12).
Lindsay received a competitive undergraduate travel grant, the Turner Award, from the Animal Behavior Society which enabled her to attend the meetings all expenses paid.
This study was carried out in the lab of Teresa Dzieweczynski, associate professor in the Department of Psychology, with whom Lindsay has been working for three years.
