Christine Hill presents social enterprise pitch about Ghana at Yale鈥檚 Unite for Sight Global Health Conference

Christine Hill (DPT 鈥�12) will be presenting a Social Enterprise Pitch, titled 鈥淕hana on the Move!鈥� at Yale University鈥檚 Unite for Sight Global Health Conference on April 24, 2012.

Hill, Marissa Stewart (DPT 鈥�12), Steph Wheeler (DPT 鈥�12), and Megan Wyand (DPT 鈥�12) all participated in UNE鈥檚 Health Immersion experience in Ghana in August 2011.  Working closely with physiotherapists at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital and the community of Sekondi, they developed a culturally attuned health promotion program as part of two courses in the DPT program: Administration, taught by Professor Jeff Nevers, and Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, taught by Dr Kathleen Cullinen.
