Tamkeen Quraishi Abreu '13 selected to receive a Teva Pharmaceuticals Robert J. Bolger Scholarship
The College of Pharmacy is very pleased and excited to announce that Ms. Tamkeen Quraishi Abreu, Class of 2013, is one of eight select recipients to receive a Teva Pharmaceuticals Robert J. Bolger Scholarship in the amount of $2,500, $3,000, or $5,000 through the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) Foundation Pharmacy Student Scholarship Program.
Tamkeen is one of 58 students nationwide (out of 500 scholarship applicants) that were selected to receive a scholarship to offset costs of tuition and other course-related expenses. Scholarships from this organization range from $2,500 to $5,000 and recognize students whose achievements are exceptional. This scholarship is to support the development of future leaders in the chain community pharmacy industry and to recognize pharmacy students who have a strong interest in pursuing a career in chain community pharmacy.
