NEOMEN holds its 10th Annual Research and Scholarly Activities Forum at UNE

The Northeast Osteopathic Medical Education Network (NEOMEN) held its 10th Annual Research and Scholarly Activities Forum on May 18th, 2011, on the Biddeford Campus of the University of 51小黄车. The event hosted residents, students and faculty from 13 sites across 51小黄车 and the Mid- Atlantic states who presented research and cases in 5 categories: Faculty Original Research, Resident Original Research, Medical Student Original Research, Resident Case Presentations, and Medical Student Case Presentation. This year鈥檚 forum had more abstracts presented and reviewed than ever before and the 5 judges were pulled from various sites across NEOMEN鈥檚 network of residencies and student campuses and included the speaker for the event, Dr. Joel Botler MD, Medical Director of Hospitalist and Inpatient Services at Maine Medical Center. After deliberation, award winning abstracts were selected and the presenters celebrated at a dinner following the event.  The winners in each category were:
