Jane Carreiro presents symposiums and workshops in Austria, Germany, France and Colorado
Jane Carreiro DO, associate professor and Section Head Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeltal Medicine, was invited to present a 3-day symposium on Common Musculoskeltal Problems in Children in Vienna Austria in January, 2011. The symposium was sponsored by the Wiener Schule fur Osteopathie. She also presented a 2 day invited symposium on Osteopathic Treatment of the Newborn in Berlin Germany February 2011. The program was sponsored by the Deutsche Gesellschaft f眉r Osteopathische Medizin (German Academy of Osteopathic Physicians). Dr. Carreiro has held the Honorary Chair of Pediatrics for the DGOM since 2007.
Dr. Carreiro was invited to present a 3-day workshop on Sports Injuries in Adolescents at a combined program of the Groupe d鈥檈tude en medecine manuelle and the Groupe d鈥檈tude en osteopathie in Mulhouse France. The program is open to orthopedic surgeons, pediatricians, and general practitioners. She was also invited to present a two-day workshop on Osteopathic Approach to Gastrointestinal Problems in Children. The program will precede the American Academy of Osteopathy鈥檚 annual convocation program in Colorado Springs Colorado.
