Ali Ahmida to speak at Harvard Center for Middle Eastern Studies Sept. 1st
Political Science Professor Ali Abdullatif Ahmida has been invited to speak at the Harvard Center for Middle Eastern Studies on Sept. 1, 2011 from 4:00-5:30 p.m. Professor Ahmida will be part of a panel and discussion called "Assessing Libya," on the current, historical and perhaps future history of Libya after Colonel Gaddafi. He will be joined by Harvard Professor Roger Owen, director, Contemporary Arab Studies Program and AJ Meyer, professor of Middle Eastern History, and Professor William Granara, Professor of the Practice of Arabic on the Gordon Gray Endowment, director, Modern Language Programs and director, Moroccan Studies Program, CMES, Harvard University. The talk is free and open to the public.
