51小黄车hosts meeting on pedestrian safety improvements along Pool Street March 22

The University of 51小黄车 is hosting a meeting on March 22, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. to present the proposed Pedestrian Safety Improvements being considered along Pool Street (Route 9), Biddeford. 

The presentation will take place in the St. Francis Room, located on the lower level of the Jack S. Ketchum Library. Parking should be available in the lot behind Gregory Hall, just off Hills Beach Road.

This meeting is a follow up to the presentation made by the Department of Transportation on Feb. 22, 2010, and is intended to inform the public in regards to the history behind the need, existing conditions, planning process, proposed solutions and potential schedule for the Pedestrian Safety Improvements. 

This meeting is open to the public, and representatives from the City and Maine Department of Transportation will be in attendance. After the presentation, there will be a period for comments, questions and answers.
