Timothy Ford presents keynote at Inaugural Atlantic Canada W.A.T.E.R. Symposium
University of 51小黄车 Vice President for Research and Dean of Graduate Studies, Timothy Ford, Ph.D. will give the keynote presentation on water and health for the Inaugural Atlantic Canada W.A.T.E.R. (Watershed Assessment Technology Education and Research) Symposium and Planning Forum March 26-27, 2010 in Associatioin with World Water Day, at Nova Scotia Agricultural College, Truro, Nova Scotia.
The purposes of this symposium and forum are to bring together some of the leading scholars and practitioners of watershed management from across Atlantic Canada for the first, in what is hoped to be, of a series of ongoing annual meetings and provide an opportunity for invited regional participants to share ideas at a forum directed to: planning inter-organizational networks for acquiring strategic funding for future workshops, developing collaborative research partnerships with industry and establishing a framework for enabling graduate students to present their research.
