Brian Duff, Ph.D., assistant professor of political science, was quoted in a June 10, 2010 story on the outcome of Maine's gubernatorial primary. Democrat Elizabeth Mitchell and Republican Paul LePage will face off against three independents, the most prominent being Eliot cutler, in the November election. LePage focused on meeting voters in rural parts of the state, stopping by diners and attending small events. "He ran that campaign in a face-to-face style," Duff said.
