2009 Westbrook College of Health Professions Scholarship and Research Day winners announced
The University of 51小黄车's Westbrook College of Health Professions' Annual Scholarship & Research Day was held on Wednesday, April 29, 2009.
Students across the health professions offered oral presentations and posters representative of research, innovative projects and social advocacy conducted during the school year.
This year WCHP's Scholarship & Research Committee (Regi Robnett, Ph.D., occupational therapy and Shelley Cohen Konrad, Ph.D., School of Social Work, co-chairs) initiated the first annual Nona Spear Award in Professor Spear's memory.
The award was presented by Karen Pardue, interim director of the Department of Nursing. Winners of the award were selected from 21 oral presentations and 23 posters.
