Eleventh Annual Undergraduate Arts and Sciences Symposium
Free and open to the public
The Alpha Chi undergraduate student academic honor society, in conjunction with the College of Arts and Sciences Dean's Office, is sponsoring this Eleventh Annual Undergraduate Arts and Sciences Symposium on Friday, May 7, 2010. This is the day after the last day of CAS classes, but the day before the beginning of finals week. The symposium provides a forum for campus-wide presentation, display, and discussion of scholarly works, original writing, art, or projects that have been completed by faculty and students. Concurrent sessions will be held throughout the day with presentations made by faculty and students from a variety of departments.
There will be 126 presentations of student work from a wide variety of disciplines. Poster presentations and artwork displays are scheduled for 8:00-10:00 am in Decary Upper Cafeteria. Oral presentations are scheduled for 10:05-4:40 in five classrooms on Decary second floor.
